Tidewater Staffing Solutions is assisting a Dayton headquartered manufacturer with the search for a Vice President of Finance. This role reports directly to the CEO of the organization. This executive role is responsible for optimizing profitability, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring compliance in a custom, project-based production environment.

DUTIES INCLUDE

·    Creating and implementing strategies to maximize profitability and growth.

·    Oversight of cost accounting functions, including job costing and labor tracking.

·    Aligning budgeting, forecasting and financial planning with production schedules and customer demands

·    Monitoring and analyzing key financial metrics.

·    Ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

·    Supervising and mentoring the finance and procurement teams.

 REQUIREMENTS

·    Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.

·    10+ years of professional experience.

·    Leadership experience withing a manufacturing environment.

·    Strong cost accounting and inventory management experience (job shop experience preferred).

·    Extensive ERP experience.
