Position Overview:We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment. In this role, you will oversee daily maintenance operations, ensuring that all machinery functions efficiently to support uninterrupted manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and direct Maintenance team members in equipment repair and upkeep
Ensure adherence to OSHA, ISO, and company safety policies
Maintain accurate maintenance records, including preventive maintenance schedules
Develop and manage maintenance schedules to support production goals
Communicate equipment status and project updates to supervisors, managers, and engineers
Implement cost-saving strategies and improve efficiency in maintenance operations
Ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements and company policies
Support predictive maintenance initiatives using modern technologies and data analysis
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree + 1 year of maintenance experience in manufacturing OR
Associate degree + 6 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing OR
Equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in a manufacturing setting
Ability to work 2nd shift (1:30 PM – 10:30 PM, Monday-Friday) with weekend overtime as needed
Strong leadership and communication skills
Preferred:
5-7 years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance
Experience in project and budget management
Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment maintenance in a manufacturing facility
