POSITION SUMMARY:The Compensation Analyst is responsible for managing Physician, Resident, and Fellow compensation contracts, ensuring compliance with the provisions of Agreements governing these relationships. This role supports both employed and independent providers (Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers) by implementing standard policies and procedures for compensation programs. The Compensation Analyst identifies and reports any irregularities to the SVP of Operations and maintains all components of the compensation programs, including incentives, supplemental compensation, educational loan payments, and other miscellaneous payments. This role processes supplemental compensation payments such as signing bonuses, residency/fellowship stipends, administrative stipends, retention incentives, extra call, extra shifts, and clinical hours, ensuring all payments are supported by written documentation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Ensure payments for employed and independent providers align with Agreement provisions.
  • Identify and report irregularities to the SVP of Operations.
  • Support compensation programs by implementing standard policies and procedures.
  • Maintain all components of compensation programs, including incentives, supplemental compensation, and other payments.
  • Process all supplemental compensation payments such as signing bonuses, retention incentives, residency stipends, and extra shift incentives, ensuring proper documentation through offer letters, employment agreements, and incentive memorandums.
  • Perform analytical work related to the organization’s compensation systems.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; a combination of relevant education and experience may substitute for the degree.
