POSITION SUMMARY:We are seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources Manager to join a rapidly growing global technology firm. This key leadership role will report directly to the CEO and is responsible for managing all aspects of HR operations, including employee relations, immigration case management, compensation programs, and performance management. The HR Manager will act as a strategic partner to leadership while providing hands-on support in creating a high-performance culture. The ideal candidate is a versatile and solutions-focused professional who excels at driving compliance, fostering employee engagement, and delivering impactful HR strategies to support organizational growth.
 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for employees and managers, providing guidance, resolving workplace conflicts, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Lead employee relations programs, including counseling, policy interpretation, and employee recognition initiatives.
  • Manage the full cycle of immigration cases (e.g., H1B, PERM), acting as a liaison between employees, legal counsel, and immigration agencies.
  • Provide guidance on immigration policies and ensure compliance with all requirements for international hires.
  • Conduct compensation analyses, benchmarking salaries, and recommending adjustments to ensure competitive and equitable pay structures.
  • Support annual salary reviews, merit increases, and total rewards package development with data-driven insights.
  • Oversee performance management processes, including feedback delivery, improvement plans, and accountability measures.
  • Collaborate with leadership to maintain a high-performance culture.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws, administering and communicating company-wide policies.
  • Oversee HR operations such as onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle management.
  • Collaborate with external vendors for payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS management.
  • Manage processes related to billable hours and bench pay, tracking key HR metrics and preparing leadership reports to identify trends and drive improvement.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • 5–10 years of relevant HR experience, including at least 3 years in a management or leadership role.
  • Experience in a technology firm or related industry is preferred.
  • Proven expertise in employee relations, immigration case management, compensation analysis, and performance management.

Skills and Certifications:

  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations, particularly in complex jurisdictions such as New York and California.
  • Experience managing processes related to billable hours and bench pay.
  • Proficiency in HR systems such as Trinet, Employee Navigator, SAP Systems, or NetSuite (planned implementation).
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across all organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical skills, particularly in compensation analysis and performance metrics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
