ATHENA is seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join a dynamic team supporting reefer unit maintenance and repair. This role is crucial in ensuring the reliable performance of refrigeration systems, providing exceptional service, and maintaining safety standards.

The ideal candidate is factory-certified by Carrier or Thermo King, has expertise in reefer unit diagnostics and repair, and is committed to quality and safety in every task.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair reefer units, including starting and charging systems, cooling systems, and electrical components, addressing common fault codes.
• Conduct leak detection, compressor replacement, soldering refrigerant lines, and evaporator/condenser replacement.
• Perform maintenance tasks such as front and rear main engine seal replacements.
• Adhere to manufacturer specifications for repairs and maintenance.
• Identify and procure necessary replacement parts to execute repairs efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and health requirements during all tasks.

Qualifications

• Factory Certification from Carrier or Thermo King (required).
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills with reefer units.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and health requirements.
• Attention to detail and ability to perform repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
