Position Overview:We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Service Manager to lead our service department and drive operational excellence. This role is critical in ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient team performance, and seamless collaboration across departments. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in diesel repair and reefer systems (Thermo King or Carrier), coupled with a relentless focus on customer satisfaction and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the service department at maximum production while controlling costs and meeting sales objectives.
• Build and maintain a loyal client base while fostering positive employee relationships.
• Ensure customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service, taking ownership of their experience.
• Serve as a liaison between technicians, the parts department, and customers to streamline communication and efficiency.
• Assign and prioritize work for technicians, ensuring timely and high-quality service.
• Maintain accurate service records and execute warranty parts retention per OEM requirements.
• Lead hiring, training, and management of technicians and service advisors.
• Develop and implement improvement efforts to meet annual service and cost control goals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Thermo King or Carrier Service Manager.
• 8+ years of diesel repair and reefer system experience.
• Proven track record of delivering outstanding customer satisfaction and follow-up.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional appearance.
• Basic computer proficiency (experience with Karmak preferred).
