Title: Senior Analyst, Data Analytics

Location: Chicagoland Area (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

 

Job Summary

The Senior Analyst, Data Analytics plays a key role in enabling data-driven decisions across the enterprise. This position focuses on leveraging Business Intelligence (BI) and Machine Learning (ML) to support high-impact initiatives. The Senior Analyst will extract and analyze large datasets from multiple sources to create predictive models, automate insights, and build interactive dashboards using tools such as Python, Power BI, and Tableau. This highly visible role provides exposure to various areas within across the business and empowers strategic planning through advanced analytics, process optimization, and clear data storytelling.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Structuring and Analysis: Organize, cleanse, and transform large datasets to support statistical analysis, trend prediction, and process improvements.
  • Machine Learning and Predictive Modeling: Build, tune, and collaborate on machine learning models to enhance forecasting and decision-making capabilities.
  • Business Intelligence and Visualization: Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and visual data presentations using tools like Tableau and Power BI.
  • Stakeholder Communication and Reporting: Gather business requirements, deliver insights, and present findings to management and key stakeholders.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Create technical manuals, policies, and documentation to ensure consistent data practices and support ongoing compliance. 

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in data analytics, with proven ability to work with large datasets
  • 3+ years of experience using Power BI or Python for reporting, analysis, or dashboard development
  • 2+ years of experience writing and optimizing SQL queries
  • Practical experience applying ML techniques to develop predictive models
  • Experience building and delivering BI solutions to support data-driven decision-making
  • Process oriented with great documentation skills
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, and takes initiative
  • Ability to work through ambiguous work situations

 

Compensation:

  • Annual base salary ranges from $110,000 to $130,000. Actual salaries may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
  • Eligible for annual discretionary cash bonus.
