We are looking for a unique blend of exceptional customer service skills, analytical competencies, and medical billing for bodily injury claims.
Responsibilities:
Collect, organize, and evaluate medical documentation to conduct analysis and develop reportable evaluation of medical coding compliance and value of charges
Investigate missing components of data to determine and carry out appropriate additional processes
Reconcile billed charges with medical record documentation
Identify, analyze, and interpret patterns within complex medical data
Consistently implement AccuMed analysis methodologies and processes
Engage in frequent phone communication with paralegals and attorneys to clearly explain methodologies, analysis results, product offerings, and status updates
Research and apply medical coding guidance and AccuMed code review methodologies
Collaborate with Expert Witnesses to process and generate documents
Manage case timelines and prioritization of tasks
Work with Client Success Manager to obtain, report, and analyze client feedback
Skills and Qualifications (not limited to):
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
Knowledge and experience in medical billing/coding and/or bodily injury claims
Ability to understand and execute on detailed processes, with strong critical thinking skills to bridge the gap between the ideal and the reality
Excellent interpersonal skills with collaborative, positive mindset
Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
Respectful and supportive of colleagues; positive contribution to the team and culture
Intermediate Excel skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree required
Relevant Certifications/Experience:
Medical Billing/Coding Certification
CPC, CPB, CIC, CPMA
CCS, CCA, CHDA
Medical Billing Specialist, Medical Claims Adjuster, Medical Billing Analyst, Revenue Cycle Management, Medical Claims Processor
Data Analytics Certification with knowledge/experience in healthcare data or medical billing
Google, IBM, Meta
