Summary/Objective:The Director of Safety, Quality, and Continuous Improvement at Pelco Solutions is responsible for overseeing these functions at the Group level. The primary objective is to drive effective operational improvements across all group companies and facilities through process enhancements, Lean methodologies, and aligning with the Group’s Operational Improvement Strategy. Additionally, this role manages Safety and Quality operations, fostering a culture of Continuous Improvement to enhance safety, quality, and cost-efficiency for our customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Continuous Improvement

Process Optimization: Analyze and enhance processes to reduce waste and improve efficiency via methods like time and motion studies and layout optimization.

Lean and Six Sigma Implementation: Lead Lean and Six Sigma activities, driving waste elimination and optimizing processes through Kaizen events and quality techniques.

Data Analysis: Collect and analyze improvement data, tracking progress with KPIs.

Collaboration and Training: Collaborate across teams to design and execute improvement projects, providing Lean and Six Sigma training to staff.

Documentation and Standardization: Enhance and standardize process documentation and standard operating procedures.

Attendance: Consistent, reliable attendance and punctuality at assigned work locations.
Safety

Strategy Development: Develop and implement environmental, health, and safety strategies ensuring compliance with core values and industry standards.

Regulatory Compliance: Facilitate compliance with safety laws and corporate policies, manage documentation, and oversee safety programs.

Incident Management: Collaborate with operations for incident and compliance management, fostering an “incident-free” culture through training and initiatives.

Program Administration: Oversee environmental compliance programs and manage safety initiatives.
Quality

QMS Development: Develop and maintain an ISO-9001 Quality Management System across sites.

Continuous Improvement: Implement quality improvement tools and supervise quality assurance practices.

Product Quality: Conduct reviews and apply statistical methods to ensure product compliance and address customer feedback.

Training and Development: Design training programs and lead quality assurance teams.

Competencies: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering preferred.
- A minimum of five consecutive years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including continuous or process improvement, quality assurance, and or safety management preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) preferred.
- Experience with safety program development and ISO-9001 Lead Auditor credentials.
