In this role, you’ll install, maintain, and repair equipment at a key customer site. You’ll play an important part in helping the customer get the most out of our products. This position requires strong technical skills, a professional attitude, and a focus on customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, fix, and maintain HighRes lab automation equipment and systems.

  • Set up and calibrate robotic systems at the customer site.

  • Respond quickly to support requests and help diagnose technical issues.

  • Keep detailed records of support cases and repairs.

  • Work with our internal teams to update, upgrade, or move equipment at customer sites.

  • Train customers on how to use our systems, including basic software training.

  • Build strong relationships with customers through clear and helpful communication.

  • Write service guides and share troubleshooting tips to help improve support.

  • Help train and guide junior team members to maintain high service standards.

  • Continue learning through technical training and skill development.

  • Occasionally work with third-party equipment manufacturers to help solve complex issues.

  • Keep track of spare parts and tools to make sure everything is in stock and ready to use.

Qualifications:

  • A technical qualification (HNC or similar), ideally in mechanical or electrical engineering.

  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience in a service or support role, especially with lab automation, robotics, or lab instruments. In-house automation support experience also counts.

  • Experience with cooling systems, software, networking, or programming is a plus but not required.

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.

  • Well-organized and able to manage your own schedule.

  • Willingness to travel as needed.

  • Valid driver’s license required.
