Position: Residential HVAC Sales / Home Performance Specialist, PDX and Vancouver

Start Date: Available Immediately

Salary/Commission: 60K Base + 4% commission ($100-150K first year projection)

Schedule: Mon-Fri, full-time, 8 AM to 4 PM

Location: In-Office

Our customer is one of the fastest-growing HVAC contractors in the state of Oregon. Crafting a niche outside of the traditional HVAC Contractor model, they focus on Overall Home Performance to assess the overall efficiency before even addressing the HVAC system. Whether it be new windows, insulation, air quality, the HVAC system, or all those aspects, our client aims to make the home as efficient as possible to save the property owner thousands overall. They specialize in heat pumps and retrofitting current systems to ones that are remarkably more efficient. They also work with affordable housing contractors, focusing their energy on the people who need it the most.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive new residential business through proactive outreach, networking, and lead follow-up
  • Conduct in-home consultations, providing energy-efficiency assessments and customized HVAC solutions
  • Educate customers on the benefits of our full home performance offerings, including rebates, tax credits, and energy savings
  • Collaborate with technicians, energy auditors, and support staff to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Goal to add and build a sales team during 2025
  • Maintain accurate records in our CRM and consistently follow up with leads
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, utility programs, and energy efficiency technologies

 

What You Bring

  • Self-Starter Mentality
  • Proven sales experience (preferably in HVAC, home performance, weatherization, solar, or energy efficiency)
  • A personal connection to sustainability, emissions reduction, or housing equity is a huge plus
  • Experience with CRM systems – Service Titan experience a huge plus
  • Experience doing assessments is a bonus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for educating homeowners
