Senior Financial Analyst – Cost Accounting & FP&A

💼 Compensation: $95,000 – $105,000 annually

Overview
We’re seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to lead cost accounting and FP&A functions for a growing, product-based manufacturing organization. This individual will play a key role in developing cost models, analyzing ROI for strategic initiatives, validating capital investments, and driving improvements in financial reporting and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and analyze detailed cost models across products and operations.

• Evaluate ROI and financial feasibility for new projects, capital investments, and strategic initiatives.

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support executive decision-making.

• Develop and enhance financial dashboards and reporting tools.

• Partner with operations, sales, and leadership teams to deliver actionable insights.

• Implement and refine cost accounting processes and internal controls.

• Utilize Sage ERP for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.

• Contribute to month-end and year-end close through financial review and reporting.

• Identify and recommend cost savings and operational efficiency opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA or MBA preferred).

• 5+ years of progressive experience in cost accounting, FP&A, or financial analysis.

• Strong understanding of product costing, capital budgeting, and financial statement analysis.

• Proficiency in Sage ERP and advanced Excel; experience with BI tools a plus.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Experience within manufacturing or product-driven environments preferred.
