Gastroenterologist Opportunity in Upstate New YorkJoin a Growing Practice in a Scenic and Supportive Community
A well-established healthcare organization serving a beautiful region where the Adirondack Mountains meet the St. Lawrence River is seeking a full-time Gastroenterologist to join their team of experienced providers. This opportunity is ideal for both new graduates and seasoned physicians looking to practice in a collaborative environment with a strong community presence.
Candidate Requirements: Open to Board-Eligible candidates within 5 years of completing fellowship or Board-Certified Gastroenterologists.
Reason for Opening: Retirement and increased patient demand within the community.
Practice Size: The group currently consists of three physicians and two advanced practice providers.
Patient Volume: Manage a clinic schedule averaging 18-22 patients per day.
Clinical Requirements: At least one day per week dedicated to hospital-based procedures and endoscopy; outpatient surgical needs are generally handled at the outpatient center, with more complex or higher-risk cases performed at the hospital OR.
EMR System: Epic.
Call coverage is a 1-in-4 rotation, including weekends.
The position is based in a regional outpatient center with access to hospital facilities nearby for surgical and inpatient care.
Base Salary Range: $563,000 to $722,000, with potential to reach the 95th percentile based on experience and productivity.
Incentives: wRVU-based productivity bonus available.
Signing Bonus: $50,000
Relocation Assistance: Up to $15,000
CME Allowance: $4,000 annually
Licensing and Dues: $2,000 covered
Paid Time Off: 240 hours annually
Malpractice Coverage: Comprehensive claims-made policy with $2.3 million per occurrence and $6.9 million aggregate, including tail coverage
