Play a major role in the growth of commercial assets for an 82 year old Credit Union that is further expanding its client  base in the Fort Wayne market.  As Commercial Loan Officer, working remotely and reporting to the Market President, you can position yourself for a tremendous opportunity with amazing career growth potential.
 
You will:
 
  • Have primary responsibility for achieving or exceeding Credit Union's commercial lending goals including originating, underwriting, documenting, and monitoring loans for and in the commercial loan portfolio.
  • Understand and effectively apply commercial loan policies as well as evaluate and proactively respond to changes in regulatory, market, and competitive conditions with the ability to communicate changes, policies, etc. to staff.
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of commercial lending field including structuring, underwriting, and documenting commercial loan transactions.
  • Maintain awareness of commercial lending field, including government regulation, commercial needs and preferences, and relationship-enhancements.
  • Participate in community affairs to increase Credit Union's visibility and to enhance new business opportunities.
 
To be a standout candidate for this opportunity, background will include:
 
  • A Bachelor's degree with an MBA preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Commercial Lending or as a Credit Analyst for a larger Credit Union or other financial institution
  • Strong sales acumen and track record of building relationships
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Solid problem solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including outstanding presentation skills
