Due to two internal promotions, we’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead heavy highway and civil construction projects from start to finish.

What You’ll Do:

As Project Manager, you’ll oversee all phases of civil construction projects, ensuring they’re completed safely, on time, and on budget. You will:

✅ Analyze project plans and specifications to define scopes of work✅ Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources✅ Coordinate project teams, including field crews, subcontractors, and vendors✅ Manage contracts, permits, change orders, and purchasing✅ Schedule labor, equipment, and materials to maximize efficiency✅ Lead project meetings and communicate with clients, engineers, and inspectors✅ Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards✅ Track job costs, billing, and financial reporting✅ Troubleshoot issues and manage risks proactively✅ Oversee multiple crews and ensure smooth project execution

What We’re Looking For:

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:

Project Management experience in heavy highway, road, or civil construction with INDOT or ODOT projects required✔ Strong leadership and the ability to manage multiple projects and teams✔ Solid understanding of construction documents, drawings, and specifications✔ Budget, scheduling, and project performance analysis skills✔ Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities✔ Tech skills: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project); familiarity with software like Bluebeam, OnStation, or ITAP is a plus✔ A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites (within a 125-mile radius)✔ Ability to split time between office and field (about 50/50)✔ Willingness to work extended hours, including some nights and Saturdays as projects require

You will also bring:• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field peferred• 5-8 years of relevant project management experience
