JOB DESCRIPTION

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various types of welding. This position requires the ability to read Blueprints and the ability to comprehend engineering drawings, tolerances and weld symbol information. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Read tape measure to the 1/16th of 1 inch
Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
MIG, Flux Core welding
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Keep accurate records of production output

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of three (3) years’ experience with MIG and Flux Core welding
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required
Must be highly experienced in measuring parts using a tape measure and other precision measuring instruments
Must be highly organized and have exceptional time management skills
Working environment is in an industrial setting that is non-climate controlled
Maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities which include walking, climbing, standing, bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, heavy lifting up to 50 lbs., or similar actives for extended periods of time
All employees must complete pre-employment screening to include drug test and a physical
