Residential Maintenance Technician

Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated Residential Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a professional appearance, ability to communicate, speak, read, and write in English and have the ability to troubleshoot and repair various issues within our residential homes.

Responsibilities

Visit residential settings to assess possible repairs needed
Communicate and meet with residents
Complete reports and work orders
Assist in possible repairs to improve residential settings for current or future tenants
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Collaborate with other departments to minimize downtime during repairs.
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to maintenance.

Requirements

Professional appearance and etiquette
Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems.
Familiarity with CMMS for tracking maintenance tasks and schedules.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
