Position Summary:The Process Engineer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and sustaining semiconductor fabrication processes in one or more areas. You will work in a cleanroom environment, supporting production teams, improving yields, and driving technical excellence in process performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance yield, quality, and cost efficiency

  • Analyze process data and perform root cause analysis on deviations and failures

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (equipment engineering, integration, R&D, and production)

  • Own tool-level process performance, monitor SPC charts, and maintain process stability

  • Drive qualifications for new tools, materials, and process changes

  • Prepare and maintain documentation including process specs, work instructions, and reports

  • Provide technical training and support for operators and technicians

  • Support technology transfers and process scaling from pilot to high-volume manufacturing

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field

  • Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or cleanroom environment preferred (1+ years for entry-level, 3+ years for experienced roles)

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and statistical skills (JMP, Minitab, etc.)

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

  • Willingness to work in a Class 1 cleanroom and follow safety protocols

Preferred Skills (varies by area):

  • Knowledge of semiconductor process equipment (e.g., ASML, Lam, AMAT, TEL, KLA)

  • Familiarity with DOE, FMEA, SPC, and process characterization techniques

  • Experience with automation systems and MES tools
