Our client is looking for someone who is experienced at the Senior Manager/Assoc Director level role who is truly ready for the next step. This will be Partnering with the Controller and reporting into the CFO with exposure to the C-Suite. Role is remote but they want people local to the area (MA, RI, CT, NY).

The Director of FP&A will be responsible for supporting the business with reporting, planning, and analysis of revenue. In this role, you will provide critical analysis and insights of drivers across the company's financial and operating performance. The ability to maintain and develop complex financial modeling and ownership of the associated reporting and planning tools in support of company objectives is essential for this role. By analyzing trends, key performance measures, and financial results, you will identify and define opportunities to improve performance and positively impact results of the fundamental business. This position will collaborate with all facets of the business, assuring alignment of business objectives in forecasting, budgeting, Cost Accounting and Analytics, and long-range planning. This is a highly visible to the company's executive leadership team.

 

· Take a lead role in business reporting by thoughtfully identifying, defining, and implementing key performance indicators that give business leaders valuable insights into business performance trends.

· Manage strategic initiatives, evaluate and prioritize alternatives, develop cost benefit analysis, and provide actionable recommendations. Prepare, deliver, and own presentations and dashboards for the Executive Leadership Team & Franchisee base.

· Perform detailed analyses for all revenue driving functions of the business.

· Work collaboratively with the business to support the development and preparation of annual plans, forecasts and long-range plans.

· Build and maintain complex forecasting models and methodologies by reviewing historical trends and analyzing actual results against forecast drivers.

· Partner with plant operations, supply chain, and sales teams to identify drivers of revenue, costs, and margins.

· Gather, organize, and analyze data from various sources to facilitate the review of revenue and same store sales performance, including Business Intelligence, ERP and Cloud Based Software.

· Responsible for tracking, research, and running analyses of industry and competition.

· Provide variance analysis explanations to leadership on financial and KPI performance versus plan, forecast, and prior year.

· Assist with the consolidation of financial results for the company’s quarterly results, annual plans, forecasts, and long-range plans to senior management and Board of Directors.

· Execute ad-hoc analytic requests, database queries, and report generation as needed.

 

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business or another quantitative field

· 8+ years of experience in FP&A with a focus in complex manufacturing.

· NetSuite, BI, or comparable experience, preferred

· Good understanding of financial statements

· Experience working with large data sets

· Proficient knowledge with Microsoft Office products, including advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint

· Self-starter who is Detail-oriented, efficient, and organized with an exceptional ability to establish priorities and objectives under tight deadlines

· Excellent presentation and communication skills along with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization

· Able to establish and maintain effective, collaborative work relationships with diverse individuals, internally and externally

· Dedicated learner with a natural curiosity for consistent growth

· Exhibits comfort, ease, and flexibility working in an extremely fast-paced ever-changing, deadline-driven environment
