\nWe’re seeking experienced Safety Specialists to join a growing utility construction team with a strong culture and people-first mindset. These roles will be critical in driving a proactive, safety-first culture while ensuring compliance across overhead electrical distribution and transmission projects.
\nAs part of a fast-growing organization, you’ll have the opportunity to influence safety practices across multiple sites, work closely with leadership, and contribute to the development of field teams in high-voltage environments.
\nConduct field safety audits and site inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company standards
\nLead safety meetings, stand-downs, and on-site training sessions
\nInvestigate incidents, near misses, and property damage; identify root causes and corrective actions
\nMaintain and update JSAs, hazard analyses, and safety documentation
\nSupport compliance with DOT/FMCSA requirements for fleet and driver safety
\nCollaborate with supervisors, project managers, and utility representatives on safe work planning
\nMentor and coach team members to build a strong, engaged safety culture
\nStay current on industry regulations and recommend updates to policies and practices
\nRequired:
\n2+ years of safety experience in utility construction, powerline work, or heavy industrial settings
\nStrong knowledge of OSHA 1910/1926 standards, NESC, and electrical safe work practices
\nAbility to travel daily to multiple job sites
\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
\nValid driver’s license with clean driving record
\nPreferred:
\nField linework experience (strong plus)
\nExperience with overhead electrical distribution/high-voltage crews
\nSafety certifications (OSHA 30, CSP, CHST, USP, etc.)
\nFamiliarity with DOT/FMCSA compliance
