IMPACT: As a Solution Architect, Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM) Consultant, you will leverage your extensive experience to provide strategic advice and guidance across all facets of Oracle SCM, including implementation, configuration, customization, and ongoing support, for both on-prem and cloud. You’ll play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation, training materials, and best practices for Oracle Supply Chain systems, ensuring that the team operates at the highest level of efficiency and effectiveness. Your expertise will directly influence the success of our projects and drive innovation within the organization.

 

A Day in the Life:

  • Implement processes for accurate data exchange in supply chain operations.
  • Identify and adopt new technologies to enhance supply chain efficiency.
  • Utilize Oracle Supply Chain export functionality for data analysis.
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to qualify new suppliers.
  • Manage supplier relationships and ensure contractual compliance.
  • Maintain inventory management processes for optimal stock levels.
  • Forecast demand and plan production schedules.
  • Oversee logistics and transportation for timely delivery.
  • Analyze supply chain data and report on performance metrics.
  • Maintain a risk management plan for the supply chain.
  • Collaborate with departments for seamless integration of supply chain processes.
  • Lead and mentor team members in supply chain operations.
  • Travel to clients on a milestone basis

 

IDEAL PROFILE:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as an Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM) SME. Must have recent experience working as an employee of a professional services firm as a consultant, supporting clients in the manufacturing, retail, and/or financial services industries.
  • Experience in the following modules: Order Management (OM), Inventory (INV), Pricing (QP), and Purchasing (PO), both on-prem and Cloud. Additional experience with Global Order Promising and Costing is a plus
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and best practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM) applications related to demand planning, inventory management, and order fulfillment.  
  • Experience with exporting and importing data from Oracle SCM systems.
  • Success with the delivery of multiple Oracle ERP implementations, including Oracle Cloud Applications.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Deadline driven while providing high-quality work.
  • Adept at leading and mentoring team members.
  • Able to travel <20%
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) designation is a plus.
