On behalf of a leading North American manufacturer, we are seeking a Business Systems Analyst who will join their IT organization at their flagship facility in Charleston, SC. IDEAL BACKGROUND: The ideal candidate brings a strong background in ERP systems along with broad experience supporting business applications across their entire lifecycle—from implementation and configuration to data reporting and continuous improvement.  

 

What You’ll Do

  • Act as a key connector between business users, business leaders, IT, and external vendors to keep systems aligned with operational needs.
  • Configure, implement, and enhance ERP solutions (Oracle EBS or other major ERP platforms such as SAP, IFS, or Dynamics).
  • Support integrations between ERP and other business-critical applications, ensuring seamless data flow across the enterprise.
  • Partner with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve system issues while driving enhancements.
  • Translate business processes into technical requirements and present recommendations confidently to senior leadership.
  • Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, and reporting solutions to give users actionable insights.
  • Apply critical thinking to evaluate the impact of system changes across interconnected business functions.
  • Lead or support multi-tier system testing, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Take on new technologies with curiosity and initiative, figuring things out and bringing forward innovative solutions.

 

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, MIS, IT, or related field required.
  • 8+ years of business systems experience as a direct employee, preferably including a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong ERP experience (Oracle EBS experience preferred, other major ERP platforms considered).
  • Hands-on experience with ERP configuration, integrations, and reporting.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels—including C-suite executives.
  • Technical proficiency with SQL-based databases; exposure to analytics, reporting tools, Domo, and Power Platform is a plus.
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and a proactive mindset to learn and apply new technologies.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in plain business language.
  • Flexibility to travel locally as needed. Some travel to another plant may be required.
  • Reside within a reasonable commute to Charleston, SC or willing to relocate upon hire (assistance provided - must be in the USA)
  • Must be a US Citizen or GC Holder
