Job Title: EHS Manager
OverviewA leading Tier 1 automotive parts manufacturer in the Sheboygan, WI area is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to oversee environmental, health, and safety programs at their facility. This company has a strong global footprint and offers a stable, long-term career path in a highly respected manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
-
Lead all EHS programs, policies, and compliance initiatives in accordance with OSHA, EPA, and state/local regulations
-
Oversee safety audits, inspections, and corrective actions to ensure a safe working environment
-
Drive continuous improvement in safety culture, training, and employee engagement
-
Manage environmental reporting, chemical handling, and sustainability initiatives
-
Collaborate with plant leadership on risk assessments, KPIs, and regulatory compliance
-
Supervise and mentor an EHS team of four employees
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in EHS, Safety, Engineering, or related field
-
7+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred)
-
Strong knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations in Wisconsin
-
Hands-on leadership experience in a unionized facility
-
U.S. citizenship required (ITAR compliance)
-
Professional certifications (CSP, CHMM, OSHA 30/4001) highly preferred
