The JDE Senior Developer is responsible for connecting business needs with IT solutions. They must have extensive JDE knowledge to design, construct, and sustain system integrations. This position requires a skilled troubleshooter dedicated to ensuring the seamless operation of existing systems and the seamless introduction of enhancements.

A DAY IN THE LIFE:

  • Translate business requirements into application specifications with stakeholders and business analysts.
  • Design, implement, and maintain integrations using an API-first strategy with JDE and other systems.
  • Develop programs using JDE EnterpriseOne (E1) Tools (RDA, FDA) and other supported toolsets like EDI.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues following OMW/Department guidelines.
  • Enhance system functionality and refactor code as necessary.
  • Write stable, reusable code adhering to team standards.
  • Manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and maintain daily workload.
  • Participate in peer code reviews and technical meetings.
  • Collaborate with development team members on projects and support tasks.
  • Communicate software development status to team and project stakeholders.
  • Support QA, UAT, and integration testing, including test case execution.
  • Conduct preliminary application testing before deployment.

 

IDEAL PROFILE:

  • 7+ years of experience in system design and programming with the JDE EnterpriseOne (EI) toolset, including Orchestrator and BSSV.
  • Experience with Orchestrator Studio, Monitor, and API development strategy and implementation.
  • Proven analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Very strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science or similar
  • LOCATION: Reside within a reasonable commute to the office in Lodi, CA or willing to relocate upon hire with some assistance from the company.
  • WORK AUTHORIZATION: Legally authorized to work in the USA without any form of sponsorship, now and in the future.
