Job Description: The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities within the Data Center sector. This role focuses on driving sales, developing strong client relationships, and providing tailored power and temperature control solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in B2B sales, full-cycle sales management, and solution-based selling.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business and generate leads within the Data Center sector

  • Perform cold calling, account management, and deal closing

  • Track all sales contacts, meetings, opportunities, proposals, and orders

  • Sell equipment rental and services to data center clients

  • Execute an annual territory sales plan

  • Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure project success

  • Maintain knowledge of power generators, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC systems, and air compressors.

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of B2B sales experience

  • Proven full sales cycle experience

  • Knowledge of construction and data center builds

  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills

  • Experience developing new accounts in a structured corporate setting

  • CRM proficiency (Salesforce preferred)

  • Willing to work Remote/Work from home, with 35% travel to potential clients

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in power generation and rental equipment

  • Large quota of booked business

  • Background in solutions-based selling
