Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and create personalized treatment plans to improve students' fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and daily living activities.
  • Implement therapy sessions focused on exercises for stretching, strengthening, and enhancing flexibility to restore joint motion and muscle strength.
  • Assist students with developmental delays in achieving independence in daily tasks, such as dressing, toileting, and feeding.
  • Address sensory processing and attention issues to improve focus and social interactions in the classroom environment.
  • Support students with behavioral disorders in developing effective anger-management strategies and coping mechanisms.
  • Assess and recommend specialized equipment, such as wheelchairs or communication aids, to meet students' unique needs.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in Occupational Therapy (Master’s or Clinical Doctorate).
  • Excellent organizational skills and adaptability to changing environments.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Proficient in documentation and report writing.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
