Our client is a decentralized manufacturing concern in the process of implementing Workday and looking to add another Workday specialist, with multiple deployments under his/her belt, to the team.
The Senior Workday HRIS Analyst is responsible for the administration, maintenance, andoptimization of the Workday Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to support theorganization's HR functions. This role involves ensuring data accuracy, system efficiency,compliance with HR regulations, and providing end-user support. The Senior WorkdayHRIS Analyst collaborates with HR and Management to identify appropriateenhancements, modifications, and corrections to all HR-related technology for processimprovement and collaborates with IT and system vendors on implementing the changesand enhancements.
Responsibilities:Administer and configure the Workday HRIS system, including custom fields,workflows, business processes, and security profiles.Configure and customize Workday HCM modules (Core HR, AdvancedCompensation, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Benefits, and Reporting) to meetbusiness requirements.Troubleshoot unexpected results or process flaws and recommend solutions.Collaborate and consult with HR to provide recommendations, configuration, andtesting, while adhering to project timelines.Continuously improve HR processes and procedures by identifying andimplementing efficiencies and best practices within the HRIS platform.Create advanced Workday reports, composite, and matrix reports, as well as createdashboards.Provide training and support to HR staff and other end-users on how to use Workdayeffectively. Address inquiries and resolve issues related to the system.Provide internal client support, including report writing and dashboard building,troubleshooting data and system issues, recommending solutions, andimplementing enhancements and fixes.Provides program management assistance on various HR initiatives, including therollout and implementation of new and existing HR programs.Manage integrations between Workday and other HR-related systems or software,such as payroll, time and attendance, or benefits administration.Lead HRIS-related projects, including system upgrades, enhancements, and newfeature implementations. Collaborate with Workday vendors or service providers totroubleshoot issues, request support, and stay up to date on software updates.Ensure data integrity within Workday and assist with HRIS data audits and cleanup.Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies inHRIS to recommend improvements and optimizations. Actively participate in theWorkday Community, training, and regional user groups to ensure awareness ofcurrent trends and innovation.Maintain proper change management and HRIS configurations and proceduresdocumentation.
Qualifications:Bachelor s Degree or equivalent skills and knowledge required.5+ years of experience in Human Resources, Human Resources InformationSystems, or a related field.3+ years of Workday experience required in several functional areas, includingHCM, Benefits, Security, Absence, Time Tracking, and Reporting.3-5 years of experience in implementing and configuring Workday HCM modules,including creating business processes. Workday HCM certification is preferred.2+ years of statistical or data analysis experience designing custom reports anddashboards using standard Workday reporting functionality such as Report Writer,Calculated fields, and Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excelskills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions based on area offocus and needs of the business.Strong security experience in role-based, user-based, and creating custom securitydomains to meet current and future business needs. Must have a deepunderstanding of how to configure and manage roles to restrict or grant accesseffectively.Experienced Workday EIB template generation, population, and ability to load datausing advanced-level Excel skills.Strong technical troubleshooting skills, including debugging and analysis of issues
A history of working with confidential data is required.Experience in consulting is a plus.
