As part of their growth, they are seeking a licensed and experienced Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned book of commercial lines business, ensuring all aspects of client servicing are handled with professionalism and efficiency.

  • Strategic Planning: Utilize strategic thinking to anticipate client needs and provide tailored insurance solutions.

  • Daily Interaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by working with them daily to address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide guidance on insurance products.

  • Rate-Making and Underwriting: Demonstrate experience in rate-making and possess a general knowledge of underwriting processes to support client needs effectively.

  • Staff Coordination: Manage and collaborate with team members to ensure workflow efficiency and resolve daily operational challenges.

Requirements:

  • Licensing: Valid insurance license is required.

  • Industry Expertise:

    • Proficient in insurance terminology, protection solutions, and the application of policies to meet client needs.

    • Knowledgeable about rating processes and available insurance markets.

  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in servicing commercial business.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

    • Familiarity with Applied TAM software preferred.

  • Professionalism:

    • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    • Demonstrated reliability, integrity, and proactive problem-solving skills.

  • Professional Designations:

    • Designations such as CIC, CRM, ARM, CPCU, or AAI are highly desirable but not required.
