Our client, a global law firm, is seeking a highly skilled associate or counsel to join their growing practice focused on Employment & Labor law. The ideal candidate will have experience in Texas employment litigation advice and counseling.  Base salary for this position is $180,000 - $200,000Duties include, but are not limited to: 
  • Performing legal research; drafting motions, pleadings, and dispositive motions; attending court appearances.
  • Drafting and responding to discovery and meet and confer letters.
  • Defending individual and class action, wage and hour claims both in court and in arbitration.
  • Responding to government investigation and inquiries.
Key Requirements:  
  • 3-4 years of experience in labor and employment law.
  • Strong background in federal and state statutes that affect the employment relationship.
  • Have a strong background in Texas employment litigation and advice and counseling.
  • Significant experience with adversary proceedings, including litigating matters in both state and federal courts.
  • Trial experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with employment manuals and other relevant employment-related documents.
  • Comfort with direct client interaction, including providing legal counseling and advice on employment-related matters.
  • Candidates should be active members and in good standing of the Texas bar.

  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
