Note: Base salary range is $100k-$125k DOE, with potential for $250k+ on-target earnings with commission.

About Our Client

Our client is a dynamic and innovative small manufacturing company with a strong foundation built on entrepreneurial success. After previously starting, growing, and selling a successful business, the founder returned to launch exciting new products in the retail space. Operating in a startup atmosphere, they are seeking a driven and experienced National Sales Manager to oversee sales efforts, expand into new markets, and lead a high-performing sales team.

Job Description

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth across B2B channels
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and retail buyers.
  • Collaborate with and support a national network of individual sales reps.
  • Oversee forecasting to ensure product availability and proper inventory levels.
  • Lead sales demonstrations and attend industry trade events to showcase products.
  • Provide sales projections and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Recruit, train, and manage additional sales team members as the business grows.
  • Foster new business relationships while strengthening existing partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in retail sales, with a focus on brick-and-mortar retail.
  • Proven track record of success selling to big-box retailers and corporate clients.
  • Strong knowledge of retail forecasting and sales projections.
  • Experience working with retail tools like Retail Link is strongly preferred.
  • Self-motivated, excellent communicator, and hands-on approach to achieving results.
  • Ability to thrive in a startup environment and grow into a managerial role.
  • Willingness to travel for sales demonstrations and client meetings.
