Job Description
The Academic Coordinator will work closely with the Superintendent and campus administrators to plan, lead, and manage academic programs across PreK–12. This role provides direct coaching to principals, assistant principals, and support staff, ensuring academic growth, compliance, and alignment with state standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and supporting instructional teams across all grade levels
- Coaching principals and administrators to achieve campus and district goals
- Overseeing academic programs, curriculum design, and student support initiatives
- Partnering with finance and leadership to align budgets with academic needs
- Supporting compliance with state/federal policies and reporting requirements
- Promoting innovative instructional programs and professional development
- Engaging with parents, staff, and community stakeholders to support the school’s mission
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Education Administration (required)
- Texas Principal’s Certification (required)
- Texas Administrator’s Certificate (preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Principal
- Strong knowledge of Texas public school accountability measures
- Experience coaching school leaders and instructional staff
- Skilled in data-driven decision making and program evaluation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
