Job Description

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and litigation support to attorneys in the Trial and Litigation Group
  • Draft, edit, and format legal documents including pleadings, motions, TOAs, TOCs, and memoranda
  • File documents with federal and California state courts, including appellate filings
  • Maintain case files, manage internal records, and support document production
  • Maintain and monitor attorney calendars using legal calendaring tools (e.g., CompuLaw)
  • Coordinate deadlines and track litigation schedules
  • Support trial prep and post-trial filings
  • Use legal tech systems including Office 365, iManage, Adobe, and timekeeping software
  • Handle client correspondence and coordinate with court staff
  • Perform other administrative duties as needed to support legal team efficiency

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of recent litigation experience in California
  • Prior experience supporting trial attorneys and managing court filings
  • Strong command of federal and California court rules
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, document management systems, and legal billing/timekeeping software
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently under deadlines
  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Appellate experience is a plus
