Our client, a well-established and highly reputable professional services organization in Albuquerque, is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their administrative team. Responsibilities For Bookkeeper:
Assist with daily accounting functions including AP/AR, invoicing, expense tracking, and reconciliations
Enter, update, and maintain financial data in QuickBooks, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
Support month-end tasks, financial reporting, and documentation for leadership review
Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries and internal team requests
Support customers with scheduling, service updates, troubleshooting, and general account needs
Prepare, edit, and organize reports, correspondence, and internal documentation
Maintain accurate electronic and physical records in line with company standards
Arrange travel, accommodations, itineraries, and schedule support for staff as needed
Coordinate meetings, appointments, and internal calendars to support daily operations
Support procurement processes, including creating purchase orders and communicating with vendors
Help track inventory levels and facilitate timely supply ordering
Perform general office duties such as filing, scanning, document organization, and data entry
Assist with special projects and cross-departmental needs to ensure efficient workflow
Qualifications For Bookkeeper:
2–5 years of administrative, office support, or customer service experience
Experience supporting accounting functions such as AP/AR, invoicing, and reconciliations
Proficiency in QuickBooks and strong general understanding of basic accounting principles
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and general data-entry accuracy
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and internal teams
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve problems with minimal supervision
Comfortable handling confidential information and maintaining accuracy in documentation
