Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage day-to-day client interactions and project communications.
Provide technically sound and cost-effective solutions to clients.
Oversee project budgets, schedules, and team resources.
Make timely, informed decisions even with limited information.
Expand client base and actively pursue new opportunities in the Orlando market.
Support and participate in business development initiatives.
Collaborate with a small, focused team on unique and challenging structural projects.
Directly impact strategic goals and have the opportunity to grow into a leadership position.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s degree in Structural Engineering preferred.
8+ years of experience in structural building design.
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida.
Experience with Revit and industry-standard software such as RAM, RISA, EnerCalc, Adapt, and Microsoft Suite.
In-depth knowledge of building codes and structural material standards.
Experience in project and client management strongly preferred.
Membership in professional engineering societies is a plus.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong understanding of building design, particularly detailing of structural steel, concrete, masonry, and related systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to interpret and apply jurisdiction-specific codes to projects.
Capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic setting and takes initiative to lead and grow.
