Summary

We're hiring a bilingual English / Spanish HR Manager to serve as a key resource across multiple manufacturing and distribution facilities. Based in Elk Grove Village, you’ll support operations in Illinois, Texas, Florida, and Alabama—bringing leadership, consistency, and hands-on support to a workforce that spans union and non-union sites.

This is a hybrid corporate-field role, built for someone who’s confident managing employee relations, guiding frontline leaders, and ensuring HR practices are aligned with both local needs and overall company goals. You’ll collaborate with plant management, help address workforce issues, and support a culture that values fairness, accountability, and steady communication.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the HR lead for multiple facilities, providing day-to-day support to onsite managers and supervisors
  • Coach leadership on handling performance issues, employee feedback, and development planning
  • Manage sensitive employee relations matters, including investigations and resolution plans
  • Support union interactions as needed—grievance handling, discipline processes, and communications
  • Oversee onboarding, training delivery, and HR communications at each site
  • Interpret and apply employment law and internal policies consistently across all regions
  • Help implement corporate HR programs in the field while adapting them to local environments
  • Identify and address team morale and retention concerns before they escalate
  • Supervise one HR team member and help guide their development
  • Travel roughly 1–2 times per month to maintain strong presence at each location

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is required
  • 5+ years of HR management experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or distribution setting is required
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to coach, influence, and guide site leadership
  • Familiar with employment law, labor practices, investigations, and compliance requirements
  • HRIS experience preferred (Dayforce or similar systems)
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (required)
  • Willing to travel up to 25%
