We’re seeking an accomplished sales professional with deep experience in produce trading and brokering. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in building relationships, closing deals, and leveraging an established network of trusted buyers and suppliers. In this role, you’ll be supported by a collaborative operations team, allowing you to focus on what you do best—building your book of business and maximizing sales. This position is fully remote for qualified candidates, though occasional in-person meetings may be required.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Grow and manage a diverse portfolio of clients and suppliers
  • Source, buy, and sell fresh produce or related commodities from multiple channels
  • Develop new opportunities in wholesale, retail, and foodservice sectors
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline deal execution
  • Keep current on market trends, pricing, and industry developments

Requirements

  • 10+ years of proven success in produce brokering or equivalent commodity sales
  • Active relationships with a network of buyers and suppliers
  • Strong negotiation, closing, and relationship-building skills
  • History of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
  • Familiarity with PACA regulations and good standing with PACA

  • Competitive base salary: $150K plus 10–20% bonus, commensurate with experience
