Schedule: Full-time, Days (Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.)
Salary: $230,000 - $265,000 per year, plus a $25,000 sign-on bonus + 15% annual bonus+ Paid Relocation available.
We are looking for an experienced ICU Nurse Manager to join our team in Redwood City. This is a crucial leadership role where you will be responsible for managing care delivery operations, guiding our nursing staff, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety within a 24/7 environment. As the ICU Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Intensive Care Unit. This includes:
Leading and Developing Your Team: Creating opportunities for professional growth, providing coaching and feedback, and fostering a collaborative, supportive team environment.
Driving Operational Excellence: Managing administrative functions, overseeing daily unit operations, and ensuring all policies and procedures are followed to meet business and clinical objectives.
Ensuring Quality and Safety: Implementing best practices and standardized care delivery models. You will be responsible for continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory standards (TJC, federal, state, and local requirements).
Strategic Planning and Collaboration: Working with physicians and other healthcare leaders to develop and implement strategic plans that improve patient care and operational efficiency.
Financial and Resource Management: Managing department budgets, monitoring resource needs, and ensuring the proper use and maintenance of equipment, supplies, and medications.
Required:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Registered Nurse License (California)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in an acute care hospital ICU.
A minimum of five (5) years of experience as an Assistant Nurse Manager or Nurse Manager.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in patient care delivery.
Minimum of four (4) years of experience in a leadership role.
Preferred (Nice to Haves):
Experience in a Neuro ICU
Experience in a union environment
