Schedule: Full-time, Days (Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.)
$175,000 - $200,000 per year, plus a Sign-on bonus + 15% annual bonus+ Paid Relocation available.
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead our Emergency Department team at in Clackamas, Oregon. This is a vital leadership role responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Emergency Department, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, safety, and operational excellence within a 24/7 environment. As the Nurse Manager, you will manage all aspects of the Emergency Department, including:
Operational Leadership: Translating business plans into actionable strategies, overseeing daily unit operations, and ensuring all policies and procedures are followed. You will manage resource allocation, budgets, and financial commitments to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.
Team Development: Creating professional growth opportunities for staff, providing coaching and performance feedback, and fostering a collaborative, positive team culture. You will be responsible for hiring, training, and succession planning within the department.
Quality and Safety: Implementing best practice models and standardized care delivery systems to improve patient outcomes. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory standards (e.g., Nursing Practice Act, TJC, federal, state, and local requirements).
Strategic Collaboration: Facilitating partnerships with physicians, hospital leaders, and other healthcare providers to achieve optimal patient care. You will lead cross-functional projects and initiatives designed to enhance quality, service, and operational efficiency.
Administrative Management: Overseeing administrative functions such as human resources (recruitment, performance management), labor relations, and quality/risk management. You will also manage emergency preparedness programs and lead continuous survey readiness activities.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in Oregon.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in patient care delivery.
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in business operations, clinical health care, or a related field.
A minimum of four (4) years of experience in a leadership role.
Preferred Qualifications:
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) in a related practice area.
