Pediatric Oncology Nurse Practitioner San Francisco, CA200-250K + Performance Bonus + Sign-On Bonus & Relocation Assistance Available!

The Nurse Practitioner will serve as a high-level professional whose activities will span the interface between the physicians and nurses who manage the Oncology program at Benioff Children’s Hospital, San Francisco. The Nurse Practitioner will act as an independent member of the team, taking responsibility for the safe delivery of care for inpatient pediatric oncology patients in addition to some ambulatory responsibilities for patient care follow-up. This team member will meet productivity expectations as set forth by the Division Chief, performing any duties related to patient care activities that are appropriate and clearly delineated.

 
 
Required Qualifications :
  • CPNP-AC Certification to be considered
Nurse Practitioner I
  • Minimum of two (2) years of recent experience working as an RN in a Pediatric BMT or Pediatric Oncology
  • Master’s Degree in Nursing with an Acute Care pediatric nurse practitioner specialization
Nurse Practitioner II
  • Minimum of six (6) months of Nurse Practitioner experience in a Pediatric BMT or Pediatric Oncology unit
 
Certifications 
  • CPNP‐AC
  • PALS
  • BLS
 
Ideal Candidate
  • Must have an active CPNP-AC (Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner - Acute Care) certification
  • Must have 2 years of RN experience in a PICU or Pediatric Acute Care setting OR a minimum of 6 months of PICU or Pediatric Acute Care NP
    • Pediatric Oncology experience is preferred
  • Must be willing to work rotating day/night shifts as needed
