REAL ESTATE FINANCE ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

Are you a talented real estate finance attorney seeking to grow your career in a national practice that offers sophisticated deal work, hands-on mentorship, and a collaborative firm culture?

 

Our client, a prominent AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a Real Estate Finance Associate Attorney to join its robust and expanding Finance Practice Group. This opportunity is available in Philadelphia, Los Angeles, or Baltimore, with a flexible hybrid work arrangement.

 

 

Candidate Profile:

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.

  • Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction, in good standing.

  • 2–5 years of substantive experience in commercial real estate finance.

  • Prior experience at an AmLaw 100 firm.

  • Significant experience working on a range of complex real estate finance transactions, including construction financing, multi-tiered capital stacks, preferred equity investments, and debt/equity hybrid structures.

  • Background in lender- or borrower-side transactions; familiarity with both is preferred.

  • Comfort handling sophisticated, structured finance matters.

  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.

  • Strong interpersonal abilities with the desire to work closely with partners and clients in a team-oriented setting.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent institutional lenders, capital providers, and developers in complex real estate finance matters across asset classes.

  • Handle structured and conventional real estate financings, including construction loans, permanent financings, and recapitalizations.

  • Negotiate and draft a wide variety of loan, equity, and security documents.

  • Support a nationally recognized real estate finance practice with transactions spanning all 50 states.

  • Collaborate directly with partners and clients, gaining early responsibility and deal ownership.

  • Contribute to business development and thought leadership efforts within the practice.

Compensation & Benefits:

The firm offers a competitive salary range of $220,000–$275,000, depending on experience and location, along with a full suite of benefits.
