We are a well-established software company based in Dallas, specializing in solutions for the surprisingly complex oil and gas industry. Think big data, complex workflows, and making sure things don't go boom (metaphorically speaking). We are looking for a talented Senior .NET Developer to join our ranks and help build, scale, and generally wrestle our cloud-native applications and APIs into submission.

Job Duties:

• Design, develop, and scale cloud-native applications and APIs using .NET and .NET Core like it's second nature.
• Make smart architectural choices, applying synchronous and asynchronous patterns where they actually make sense.
• Write clean, high-quality code that's unit-tested, peer-reviewed, and checked in frequently.
• Develop and design necessary database objects (tables, stored procedures, functions – the usual suspects).
• Implement robust RESTful and SOAP web services within the Azure cloud environment.
• Understand and apply core Cloud computing concepts (IaaS/SaaS/PaaS, load balancing, etc.).
• Step up and lead projects when required, but also function as a productive member of the team without excessive ego.

Ideal Background:

• 6+ years of professional experience developing cloud-native applications and APIs, primarily using .NET and .NET Core.
• Significant hands-on experience (at least 2 years) with the Azure Cloud platform.
• Proven track record working on complex, enterprise-level applications, ideally within a SaaS environment.
• Experience implementing both RESTful web services and SOAP services in a cloud setting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and collaborate effectively within a development team.
• A solid grasp of cloud computing technologies and architectural patterns.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
