We are an established mining and manufacturing company based in Raleigh, NC that is implementing a new Workday system to help us streamline our HR operations.

We are looking for an experienced Workday HRIS Analyst that has been through multiple Workday implementations to manage and optimize our Workday HRIS, ensuring proper configurations, data accuracy, and system efficiency.

Job Duties:

  • Administer and configure Workday, including custom fields, workflows, business processes, and security profiles.
  • Configure and customize Workday HCM modules (Core HR, Advanced Compensation, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Benefits, and Reporting) to meet business needs.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and recommend effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with HR and IT to identify and implement system enhancements and process improvements.
  • Create advanced Workday reports, composite reports, matrix reports, and dashboards.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on Workday functionality.
  • Manage integrations between Workday and other HR-related systems.
  • Lead HRIS projects, including system upgrades and new feature implementations.
  • Ensure data integrity within Workday and assist with data audits and cleanup.
  • Stay current with Workday trends and best practices, participating in the Workday Community and user groups.

Ideal Background:

  • 7+ years of experience in Human Resources or HRIS
  • 5+ years of Workday experience across multiple functional areas (HCM, Benefits, Security, Absence, Time Tracking, Reporting).
  • 3+ years of experience implementing and configuring Workday HCM modules and creating business processes.
  • Experience designing custom reports and dashboards using Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, and advanced Excel.
  • Strong experience with role-based and user-based security, including creating custom security domains.
  • Proficiency with Workday EIB template generation and data loading using advanced Excel.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting, debugging, and analysis skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (nice to have)
