Sales Engineer for MSP supporting SMBs

Services include: IT Support and Engineering spanning Systems, Networks, Applications, Cloud and Cyber Security
  • Hybrid schedule - office in SW Orlando
  • Base Salary range 90k - 115k (based on experience)
 
 
Core Responsibilities
 
  • Collaborate with the sales team
  • Provide technical expertise and support during the sales cycle
  • Meet with clients (onsite, video, phone)
  • Identifying clients needs
  • Design and present tailored solutions
  • Bridge the gap  between the technical and sales teams, ensuring client needs are fully understood and met with the appropriate solutions. 
  • Ensure a smooth handoff to the service delivery team during the transition from from pre-sales to onboarding
  • Documentation
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Have Fun
 
Skills & Experience
 
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure (networking, servers, virtualization, cloud, firewalls, and backup solutions).  
  • Tier 3 Advanced Support Skills
  • AD management, Server upgrades, MS Exchange support
  • O365, Azure, VMware, SQL, DNS, DHCP, etc.
  • ConnectWise RMM, PSA, CPQ
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and tools (EDR, MFA, security audits)
  • Presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex  technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 
  • 2 years or more experience in managed services
  • Stability and proven success in current and previous position(s)
