\nOur Client is seeking an Engineering Change Notification (ECN) Coordinator to ensure products are produced in accordance with customer schedules by accurately processing and implementing engineering change notices. The candidate will evaluate ECNs, analyze drawings and bills of material, verify feasibility, coordinate with engineering, and execute changes according to schedule.
\nJob Responsibilities:
\n● Process and implement Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) accurately and on schedule.
● Evaluate ECN content, analyze drawings and bills of material, and ensure feasibility.
● Ensure compliance with company ECN procedures and customer timing commitments.
● Lead and support cross-functional ECN meetings with engineering, assembly, affiliates, and suppliers.
● Determine procurement methods for new/changed parts (in-house, external assembly, external procurement).
● Assist with quoting processes and recommend implementation dates based on inventory, urgency, and feasibility.
● Create and manage master data fields in SAP for new materials.
● Utilize Smartsheet and MS Office (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook) to document and communicate ECN changes.
Requirements:
\n● Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent technical training/experience.
● 3–4 years of technical experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering preferred.
● Hands-on mechanical knowledge and experience required.
● Strong knowledge of bills of material, metric system, and DIN standards.
● Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
● Ability to work under pressure, independently, and on multiple projects simultaneously.
● Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); MRP/ERP experience required.
● SAP and Smartsheet experience a plus.
