This is a full-time position on the 2nd shift, with opportunities for overtime and advancement within the company.

As a CNC Mill Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC milling machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. You will work with a variety of materials, including metals and plastics, and use various tools such as drills, lathes, and grinders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC milling machines according to work orders and blueprints
  • Load materials onto machines and adjust machine settings to ensure proper cuts and finishes
  • Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and production standards
  • Inspect finished parts for accuracy and make any necessary adjustments
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during production
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years experience operating CNC milling machines
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
  • Strong knowledge of machining tools and equipment
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with tight tolerances
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
