A premier intellectual property litigation team is seeking an attorney with 2-5 years of patent litigation experience to work on complex engineering and technology-related disputes. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong technical background who are comfortable handling courtroom advocacy, depositions, and direct client interactions.
Position Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in patent litigation matters before U.S. District Courts and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB)
- Conduct case analyses, legal research, and draft pleadings
- Handle fact and expert discovery, including depositions and strategic trial preparation
- Research and draft motions, claim construction briefs, and trial-related filings
- Work directly with clients and opposing counsel to develop litigation strategies
- Engage in pre-trial and trial activities in high-stakes cases
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of patent litigation experience in engineering or technology-related cases
- Undergraduate or master’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, or physics preferred
- Prior experience within the Intellectual Property department of a comparable law firm
- Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
- ITC experience is a plus
- Exceptional academic credentials from a recognized law school
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary ($235,000 - $365,000) based on experience and location
