Credentialing Coordinator
 
Location: Flint, MI
Hours: M-F 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
Pay Range: $16-18 per hour based on experience
 
 
Overview: 
The Credentialing Coordinator manages all credentialing and privileging activities for physicians and mid-level providers. This role ensures compliance with JCAHO, Department of Labor, and other regulatory requirements while maintaining accurate credentialing files and databases. 
 
 
Responsibilites: 
  • Oversee credentialing and recredentialing for all providers. 
  • Maintain credentialing files, licenses, certifications, CME, and hopsital privelages. 
  • Serve as a liaison between providers, health plans, and credentialing organizations. 
  • Notify providers of upcoming expirations and ensure timely updates. 
  • Handle payer enrollment, CAQH, and insurance credentialing. 
  • Resolve credentialing-related issues independently and accurately. 
 
Qualifications: 
  • 1-2 years credentialing experience required. 
  • Knowledge of CAQH, payer enrollment, and insurance processes. 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively and manage multiple priorities.
