To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you should have:

 
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field from an accredited university
  • Expertise in Radio Frequency (RF), Systems Engineering, Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense and Tactical Data Links
  • 10-12 years of relevant industry experience
  • A comprehensive understanding of U.S. Navy Tactical Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) systems, gained through military operational experience or extensive testingIn-depth knowledge of US Navy C4I systems
  • Active US SECRET clearance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (especially Word) and strong written and oral communication skills
  • Expertise in USN C4I Program of Records and previous experience supporting SPAWAR/NAVWAR or NIWC PA
  • Experience with DDG ships.
 

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and manage ship engineering drawings to the highest standards

  • Analyze Technical Data Packages (TDPs), Ship Change Documents (SCDs), and Installation Drawings (SIDs) to ensure quality and completeness

  • Solve complex ship system and integration challenges, and evaluate system interfaces

  • Conduct thorough end-to-end system operability verification testing
