About the Job Opportunity:
Our client is a $1B financial services company located in the beautiful heart of Irvine, CA. This position will be reporting to a seasoned financial manager with exposure to Senior VP/C level executives.
Ideal Senior Financial Analyst will have strong IT(Cloud knowledge) and CAPEX expenses experience will be preferred.
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic insights to drive business decisions. You will be responsible for developing comprehensive financial analyses, reports, and presentations that support our organization's financial health and growth.
Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reports, ensuring data integrity and highlighting key findings.

Forecasting: Develop robust financial projections based on historical trends, market conditions, and strategic plans.

Data Management: Manage large datasets from various sources, utilizing data mining techniques for analysis and research.

Financial Modeling: Create complex financial models to support decision-making through scenario planning, what-if analysis, and merger and acquisition activities.

Collaboration: Work closely with accounting, operations, and business unit management to ensure accurate financial reporting and alignment with strategic objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- MBA preferred.
- 4-7 years of experience in financial analysis or a related field.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and financial markets.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with expertise in Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Experience with financial reporting tools (e.g., Hyperion, Oracle, OBIEE, PowerBI) is a plus.
- Proven ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
