ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:

 

We are looking for a seasoned Software Sales and Capture Manager to lead our efforts in expanding the company’s Software Systems portfolio. This pivotal role will focus on capturing and growing business opportunities within the military UAS and Aircraft Sustainment sectors.

 

The successful candidate will be results-driven and responsible for achieving key objectives, including generating new business and developing innovative revenue streams. The Capture Manager will manage the full lifecycle of the capture process—from opportunity identification to contract acquisition—and execute strategic campaigns in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

 

Responsibilities

 

·       Customer Relationship Management: Build and sustain strong relationships with military stakeholders and industry partners, while identifying revenue-generating opportunities through technical briefings and software demonstrations.

·       Strategic Campaign Development: Lead strategic campaigns to secure new contracts, including customer mapping, engagement planning, market assessments, competitive analysis, and aligning customer needs with AVX software solutions.

·       Product Offering Design: Develop compelling product offerings and unique differentiators tailored to customer needs and market demands.

·       Investment and Business Case Analysis: Perform financial evaluations, including investment and business case analysis, to support strategic decisions.

·       Proposal Development: Prepare technical white papers, competitive proposals, and pricing strategies aimed at contract acquisition and revenue growth.

·       PGO/PWIN Analysis: Conduct PGO (Probability of Go) and PWIN (Probability of Win) analyses to develop actionable growth strategies.

·       Collaboration Across Teams: Partner with UAS and Sustainment business leaders to drive growth and align business development efforts with organizational goals.

·       Market Diversification: Focus on military markets while pursuing commercial opportunities to broaden the revenue base.

·       Marketing Strategy Execution: Lead marketing initiatives, including trade shows, advertising, and social media campaigns, to promote AVX software solutions and enhance visibility in the military market.

·       Opportunity Exploration: Continuously explore emerging opportunities in military and commercial markets to identify new avenues for revenue generation.

BACKGROUND PROFILE

 

·       5-10 years or more recent and related business development experience.

·       Defense and similar software sales experience.

·       Software demonstration and pricing experience.

·       Experience in military aviation is highly desirable.

·       Travel: Up to 50% as required.

·       Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.

·       Security Clearance: Ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret security clearance.
